Ross Geach
Former Stein’s head chef Ross Geach is owner and head grower at Padstow Kitchen Garden, which supplies vegetables to some of the finest restaurants in Cornwall and beyond.
What started out as a hobby for the sixth generation farmer has grown into a successful business, harvesting salad and vegetables in the morning and personally delivering to local restaurants in time for lunch. Ross has also opened up an honesty box farm shop and offers a veg box delivery scheme to people in the local area.
Ross has written monthly columns in the gardening section of The Telegraph, appears monthly on BBC Radio Cornwall’s Gardenline, and has featured a few times on BBC1’s Countryfile. To keep his hand in the kitchen, he also holds monthly pop up cookery events in his polytunnel. Using only ingredients grown or reared at the farm, Ross prides his events on their sustainable and strictly seasonal, zero-mile menus.
